
Comptroller
Comptroller Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the financial operations of the organization

Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements

Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
-
Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets
-
Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
-
Provide guidance and support to staff on financial matters
-
Collaborate with internal teams to develop and monitor financial forecasts
-
Assist in the preparation of financial reports
-
Stay updated on technical accounting standards and changes in regulations
-
Manage the corporate accounting function, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
-
Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits
-
Perform other duties as assigned
Comptroller Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree preferred)

CPA certification is highly desirable

Proven experience as a comptroller or similar role

Strong knowledge of governmental accounting principles and practices
-
Proficiency in using accounting software such as erpNEXT or similar systems
-
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Solid understanding of budgeting and financial concepts
-
Knowledge of technical accounting standards and regulatory reporting requirements

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
