Comptroller

Comptroller Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the financial operations of the organization

  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements

  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets

  • Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy

  • Provide guidance and support to staff on financial matters

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and monitor financial forecasts

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports

  • Stay updated on technical accounting standards and changes in regulations

  • Manage the corporate accounting function, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable

  • Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Comptroller Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree preferred)

  • CPA certification is highly desirable

  • Proven experience as a comptroller or similar role

  • Strong knowledge of governmental accounting principles and practices

  • Proficiency in using accounting software such as erpNEXT or similar systems

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Solid understanding of budgeting and financial concepts

  • Knowledge of technical accounting standards and regulatory reporting requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
